Born in the city of Capinzal (SC), into an Italian family with 11 children and founders of one of the largest spare parts companies in the country, Gentil and Genir (in memoriam) – the Amalcaburio brothers, as they were known, were true visionaries .

The brothers' first contact with a mechanical workshop was in the city of Campos Novos (SC), when they were taken there by their uncle. Interested in the job, Gentil and Genir then dedicated themselves and learned everything necessary about car and truck mechanics.

In 1958, the brothers came to Caxias do Sul (RS), where they founded a plating and painting company – truck refurbishment – ​​whose business name was Gentil and Genir Amalcaburio. In 1963, the workshop, already expanding due to the entrepreneurial spirit of its founders and the competence with which they carry out their work, became a manufacturer of spare parts for trucks and was renamed Irmãos Amalcaburio. The first part manufactured was a battery box for FNM (Fábrica Nacional de Motores).

In 1965, Gentil began traveling around Brazil in search of new products to be manufactured in order to meet market needs. Genir, responsible for the company's production and financial administration, closely monitored everything that came off the production line, as well as new investments.

The brothers attributed the company's success to the fact that they personally took care of the business, and now in the second generation, this is what keeps the company competitive and expanding.

Gentil and Genir have always been proud of the position achieved by Amalcaburio, inside and outside the country, always seeing a promising future ahead for the company, which is always preparing to open new market fronts.

The legacy left by the two brothers remains strong and active to this day, with the firm hand of the cousins ​​in the current presidency, Gelson Amalcaburio son of Gentil and Geniferson Amalcaburio son of Genir, who reached the milestone of 60 years of the company, with a lot of dedication to work.
